Born from the wild fynbos of the Gamtoos Valley, our soaps are handcrafted in small batches using the cold process method with coconut oil and botanicals foraged from the dunes and coastline of the Eastern Cape.
Every bar carries ingredients found nowhere else – wild rosemary, buchu, blombos, impepo, fynbos sage, lavender, and other indigenous plants unique to this stretch of South African coast. From the dunes to your hands, each soap is a piece of the Gamtoos.
Sustainably Foraged
All our botanicals are hand-picked from the wild in small quantities, taking only what the land can spare. We forage with care, never over-harvesting, allowing plants to regenerate naturally. By working with the seasons and respecting the ecosystem, we ensure that the fynbos continues to thrive for generations to come.
Cold Process Method
Our soaps are made using the traditional cold process method, where oils and botanicals are blended at low temperatures to preserve their natural properties. Unlike commercial soap-making, this gentle process retains the glycerin naturally produced during saponification, giving each bar deep moisturising qualities. Every batch is then cured for 4-6 weeks, resulting in a mild, long-lasting bar that is gentle on your skin.
No synthetic fragrances. No artificial colours. No harsh chemicals. Just pure, natural ingredients your skin will love.
