The Cold Water Classic gives you that opportunity.
It’s a triple mile event in sub-15 degree Celsius water.
No late entries.
Oh, forgot to mention…
Men are allowed Speedo type costumes only; women, slightly more.
The JBay Wind Farm MTB Classic has become a must-ride event for MTBers across the globe.

Nutritech presents the 2018 Endurade JBayX 2-day / 3-stage Trail Run, three individual 20km trail runs that start 12 hours apart, for a total of 60kms of suffering.

Participants take part in a mountain bike race, a golf tournament and a surf contest.
Past participants include Garreth Mclellan, John Smit, Jordy Smith, Butch James, Greg Minnaar and Tonderai Chavhanga.
This event has grown into a monster (much like the one that got away), and for good reason.

There are a number of categories, including top lady, top junior, most species, etc, as well as lucky draw giveaways.
This mini enduro race requires no competitor licenses or club memberships to partake in.
Pay an entrance fee of R200 and have some fun clearing jumps on an easy-to-medium 15km track that includes flat and technical sections.
Register online and stand a chance to win a lucky draw prize.
Bring your own chair.
